  • Beth is an excellent communicator and listener; she always provides insightful guidance on the challenges that lay ahead. My recommendation of Beth will not do her justice. She is one of the most amazing individuals I have had the pleasure of calling friend, confidant and role model. She is a very talented, intelligent and caring individual who enriches the lives of everyone she touches. She has a gift of being an extraordinary connector. She reaches out to everyone she meets and through her nurturing personality they know instantly that she genuinely cares. These individuals are put at ease and are comforted by her grace, trust and friendship. Beth is an excellent communicator and listener; she always provides insightful guidance on the challenges that lay ahead. She has very strong values, faith and character. These are evident by the way she lives and leads her life, as well as the great charity that she shows to others. These skill sets make Beth a born leader. I have seen her inspire others through her exceptional leadership. She leads by example and creates a drive and sense of empowerment in others to be better people. She has had this effect in my life and is someone I truly admire. Any organization would be fortunate to have Beth's charismatic contributions - I cannot recommend her strongly enough.

  • Coming into the facilitation training the thought of “role playing” was almost enough to question coming. Yet, after given the opportunity to practice facilitating a group and getting productive feedback and coaching, I saw that role playing can be done in a way that isn’t pretending and acting out less than real situations, but a place where real discussions can take place as we learn and practice. This exercise has been incredibly helpful and beneficial to my growth as a facilitator. This coupled with Beth’s practical teaching will have a powerful impact in the way I facilitate and encourage others to facilitate!

  • I have invited her to teach a variety of additional workshops that are relevant to family relationships for my job as a school social worker. She is very knowledgeable and uses research based materials to help teach a number of topics. She teaches at a level where everyone can grasp it and be motivated to execute them right away. I first heard about Beth Racine and Envision Innovation through my church and was interested in attending some of her workshops to grow as a parent. Soon afterwards, she was speaking at my MOPS group and although I was not able to be present, it was one of the best presentations we had according to many of our moms. I invited her to speak at our school and soon I was interested in meeting with her to talk about some new transitions in my life as a wife and mother. Beth provided me with guidance and a trusted ear to process my situation. Beth was sincere and met me where I was at. She was easy to talk to and easy to learn from. Since then, I have invited her to teach a variety of additional workshops that are relevant to family relationships for my job as a school social worker. She is very knowledgeable and uses research based materials to help teach a number of topics. She teaches at a level where everyone can grasp it and be motivated to execute them right away. She has given good practical ideas on how to improve relationships in general. Beth is compassionate and has a heart for the people that she serves.

  • As a volunteer, she helped all of us to teach and reach the children in our specific age groups. Her classes helped a great deal in understanding how children feel and think about the different situations that they are in - in their everyday lives. Because of her training, we were able to really help these children. I was able to also attend classes that Beth did for parents, at our church. These parent classes were very helpful to all of the parents, teachers and leaders. Beth has an extreme and Godly love for children. She successfully helps kids and their parents in the difficulties life may bring their way. On a personal note - when Beth and I met for individual sessions, I always walked away with a great feeling of love, her love for those that are under her care. Beth is an honest and loving person. She is pure in heart in wanting to help children and their parents.

  • In the darkest days of my adult life - during an extremely contentions six year divorce and custody battle - I found a ray of sunshine and hope for my relationship with my kids. That ray of sunshine was Beth Racine.

Unfortunately my children had experienced both the disintegration of their parents marriage and being exposed to unfounded "dad bashing" by their mother. Disrespected and undermined as a parent by my spouse - and working a high stress job, as sole bread winner had taken their toll on my relationship with my kids as well. And frankly the home I grew up in was not a model for good parenting skills. So I certainly was ill equipped to deal with my kids acting out in the way they were at the time. I was at the end of my rope.

I called my church and asked if they had resources for situations like mine - and they directed me to Beth.

Beth and I met and discussed my situation. She had some great recommendations that day and we talked often over the course of several months. She held several parenting workshops which I attended. These workshops helped me in my parenting skills and to turn around the damage that had been done to our relationship during the divorce.

Beth helped to equip me with the tools I needed to make a huge shift in the way I did parenting, to better understand the dynamics happening among the kids and I and to rebuild a strong relationship with the kids - while being responsible as a parent.

Beth took my panicked calls with grace and calm. She listened to me empathically and then helped me move forward from my challenges. Her belief in me, encouragement and affirmation gave me the hope I needed to carry on in some extremely tough situations.

I also had the chance to see Beth leading the team of adults who serve in the kids divorce program at Willow Creek. I attended her training and coaching sessions in advance of the kids arriving each week - for about a year. I learned even more - and had the chance to see just how committed she was to her ministry - and how she invested in all that served there - so that they could be the best they could be in helping these children in need. I was in awe of her skills and insight and learned a lot myself.

Beth has a wonderful tender heart for people - and especially for the children and parents that she has served. She is truly doing Gods work - she is a blessing.

I'd highly recommend Beth to anyone looking to improve their parenting or relational skills. Beth was the light house and safe port in the storm that helped me to overcome perhaps the toughest challenge of my life.

I thank God for putting Beth Racine in my path when he did. She was a tremendous blessing to me and my children.

You have everything to gain by working with Beth.

  • Mixed between her insights and compassion, was the guidance and understanding that helped my 5 year old, who was constantly acting out in all environments, by providing me with the tools to help him and rebuild a happy life. Life always seems to throw a curveball when we least expect it or worse than that, when we can least afford it (financially and mentally). My story started with a divorce, coping with the change and the constant arguing of what belongs to whom. Then, my son started acting out. Never having dealt with this type of issue before, I was at a loss and slowly slipping further down. Then, I met with Beth and she was a godsend. Mixed between her insights and compassion, was the guidance and understanding that helped my 5 year old, who was constantly acting out in all environments, by providing me with the tools to help him and rebuild a happy life.

  • She truly practices what she teaches. I believe anyone and any ministry could benefit from Beth's teaching and experience. She takes her life experiences coupled with education to bring help and healing to others. I volunteered in a ministry to help children of hurting families for more than ten years. Beth Racine took over that ministry and soon faced a crisis in her personal life. She demonstrated both wisdom and compassion as she took a needed break to renew and restore herself. She was able to return strong and much more able to take the reigns. Soon I faced a devastating crisis of my own that affected both me personally and the ministry. Beth was a much needed support during that time and helped me to transition my place in the ministry and gave me my needed space to heal. I believe she learned from her own personal crisis to help me through mine. She was able to comfort me with the comfort with which she was comforted.

Beth implemented several changes in the ministry. She taught the volunteers how to see, know, and understand the kids better as well as create a place that was not only safe for the kids but felt safe for them. What she taught us as leaders was so helpful that she decided to pass on the knowledge and training to parents for their benefit.

Several years later, after the ministry was stronger and better, I faced another crisis. Once again Beth showed both compassion and understanding. She fully supported me. With her help and the help of others, I was able to heal and grow through another crisis in my life.

When I faced one of the most challenging decisions in my life, Beth was there to listen and offer wise counsel. Once again she was able to draw from her own painful experiences to offer insight into my situation and decision. Beth is one of the best listeners I know. She listens with compassion and empathy. When you talk with her, you feel understood and known.

She truly practices what she teaches. I believe anyone and any ministry could benefit from Beth's teaching and experience. She takes her life experiences coupled with education to bring help and healing to others. She has learned and has practiced techniques that truly build into people. I know because I have experienced her valuable help in my personal life and ministry.

  • Beth has tremendous insight into interacting with children and making them feel understand and with ways to address the different ways which children interact with adults. • With helpful insights, exercises and practical tools, we were able to walk away with the necessary tools to help us through a rough patch in our family and it strengthened our relationships with each other. I first met Beth, while my children and I were attending a Divorce Recovery/Oasis program at Willow Creek. Every divorce is challenging in its own way. Beth handled my children with utmost respect, love and care. Through this program, she held several separate workshops designed towards children and families. Each class was well structured and gave some very helpful and practical teaching.

We ran into some really, really bad times. She proposed that we meet outside of the group atmosphere to discuss things at a deeper level. Her insight, counseling and care for my daughter, showed the genuine love that she has for her profession. With helpful insights, exercises and practical tools, we were able to walk away with the necessary tools to help us through a rough patch in our family and it strengthened our relationships with each other. We still practice a lot of what Beth taught us. I thank God that she is a part of our lives.

  • Beth is my best "secret weapon" in ministry. Little did I know when I decided to utilize Beth's consulting services how much she would impact me and my relationship with the Lord which in turn dramatically impacted my children's ministry.

Historically at our church children's ministry leadership had not had much consistency. I knew when taking this position it was going to be a challenge to determine what to do first. Having Beth as a resource, made choosing my next steps easy. What I appreciated most about her input was how she made it a point to direct our conversations the circumstances of children's ministry back to God and his plan and path for me and this ministry. We were working as a team to direct this ship and I can't tell you what a blast it has been.

Another thing I appreciate Beth, is how she prays with me during every consultation. On the days I needed an encouragement or a touch from the Lord, He met us right when I needed Him most in the most specific way and it was by her leadership I was able to receive that awesome gift.

Being in leadership can be difficult and often times lonely. It is nice to know I have Beth in my corner, her knowledge of kids and their developmental growth, her knowledge of ministry and communications within a church context and her experience leading people has brought me new information, new perspective and new experiences that is making this ministry healthier each week.

My Senior Pastor asked me if Beth's services were adding value to the ministry, I was excited to tell him yes because we were growing our team, we were educating our leaders on what it meant to be in ministry and my leaders were being directed and pointed to the Lord for everything they needed. In my communications with him I was also able to clearly communicate the goals and the direction we were going with having kids involved in Sunday services, and partnering with families for the objectives of the ministry.

One of the biggest ways Beth's services have impacted our ministry are the communications trainings we have presented to our volunteer base at the church. Safe communication is happening more in the classrooms with kids and even our small group scenarios with adults. Time after time people are using the techniques and information Beth talked to us about how to have better relationships. You did it! Thank you. :)

Beth is my best "secret weapon" in ministry. I am so thankful God has brought her and her services to my ministry and my life. I look forward to working with her in the future and I am praying blessing upon blessing over her ministry and her consulting services. My prayer is that with each workshop, each seminar, each conversation, each class hearts are opened and lives are changed because of the things she brings to the table. God bless you, Beth. Thank you so much!
